so... well... yesterday was live 8.
twas alright.

jj, it was the most amazing day ever!!!! i think the highlight for me was seeing annie lennox play 'why' live to a montage of african images..... it was the most moving performance and annie lennox is such a legend....
mariah carey was really funny actually, absolutely note perfect and just the right amount of diva attitude...
yes, we marched along to peter kay singing 'amarillo'.... and believed him when he said the spice girls were coming out, then were bitterly disappointed...
the who were outstanding.
to morgan and katie snow....i watched pink floyd and thought of you...
robbie williams got the whole crowd singing and dancing and seeing him sing angels was a teenage dream come true....
joss stone was cool and looked hot....
omgd kelly from the stereophonics is the hottest man i'v ever seen in my whole life....
razorlight were great, the main guy had an amazing hat... and proceeded to strip down to just some tight white trousers (oh dear)...
the killers only did one song :( made it a good one tho....
velvet revolver, odd.
bob geldof is actually a pretty good artist, i loved his monday song....
i have loved yousso n'dour for my life so seeing him sing with dido was mega cool...
seeing madonna live is something that i never thought i would get to do...
brad pitt baby!!! it was so funny when they announced him, all the ladies jumped up to watch him...
all the hosts were great actually, lenny henry and dawn french, matt lucas and david walliams, david beckham, ricky gervais and the great geldof.
bill gates was weird.

the atmosphere there was totally breathtaking, and when all the concerts all over the world switched to will smith in philly talking about the click campaign, everyone at the concerts was clicking their fingers at the same time, to be part of that and just to be there felt so good.
we did have to queue 2000 metres and run for about 800 metres of that, the most exercise i've done since p.e. at school, total hell, but totally worth it.
