Title: No more running
Rating: PG…I think
Pairing: C/O
Spoilers: 8.11 Burned
Summary: Olivia needs comfort after dealing with Valerie Sennet.
Author’s Notes: Well, it’s my first fanfic for SVU and so it’s also my first C/O. I would love feedback…*g* who doesn’t? :D
It’s also very short, just a little one shot for all C/O fans.
Disclaimer: If I would own them, Casey and Olivia would be living happily ever after. But they don’t. So, I don’t own them.
ADA Casey Novak couldn’t believe what the detective had told her.
“So, Valerie Sennet lied to you, even though she knew she was lying? She really must’ve hated her husband.”
Detective Olivia Benson nodded. The shock over this revelation was still deep inside her.
“What I just can’t believe is how cold Valerie and her…”, Olivia couldn’t get the word ‘lover’ over her lips, “…her sex partner were. I mean, he didn’t even care much about the fact that she got burned. All he said was that they weren’t that close.”
The brunette woman shook her head.
“When you sleep with someone more than one time, you do care about this person, don’t you?”
Olivia knew that she wasn’t the best one to talk about love, but sex? Yeah, about sex she could talk a lot.
The ADA was looking cautiously at her detective. Casey knew that Olivia often got too involved with her feelings towards the victims, especially raped women. And this woman, Valerie, had lied about one of the worst crimes that could happen to a woman or a man. She walked around her desk, put herself behind the detective’s chair and placed her hands on the shoulders of the other woman. Olivia closed her eyes on the sensation of the feeling of the soft hands on her shoulders. She laid her hands over the other woman’s hands and stroked them lightly.
“Thanks for the comfort, Casey, but I made a fool of myself and I’m just one month back here at SVU.”
Casey’s heart hurt when she heard the sadness in Olivia’s voice. She bend down and hugged the detective, laying her arms fully around the woman.
“First, you didn’t make a fool of yourself. I believed her, too, and so did most of the others. And second”, her arms moved tighter around her, “I’m really glad that you’re back, Liv.”
Olivia couldn’t help herself; she sighed deeply and leaned more into the embrace. Feeling Casey’s lips so close to her cheek sent electric jolts through her body.
She was attracted to the ADA; she had known that for a long time. But this feeling? As if her entire body wanted to melt into the body of the other woman? It was so much more than just attraction.
“Casey…”
It was more a moan than a whisper and her eyes widened in shock. She tried to get up, but Casey had quickly moved around her and now sat on her legs.
“No, Olivia, you won’t run away. You ran away the last time I wanted to show you how I feel and I won’t let that happen again.”
The detective couldn’t remember one single moment with the ADA where these feelings could have been confessed. But it didn’t matter anymore, because now she knew that Casey felt the same and all that she was able to think about in this moment was her arousal caused by the blonde woman on top of her. And then all the thinking stopped when she felt Casey’s lips conquering her own in a passionate kiss.
After a while, when they both needed some air to breathe, Casey put her forehead to Olivia’s. “No more running, okay?” Olivia closed her eyes for a second and then gave the other woman the most honest look she ever had on her face.
“I can’t promise that, but I promise to do my best.” Casey knew that this was all she would get, so she nodded lightly and kissed her again. “I can live with the best, as long as the best is you. And Liv, you are the best for me.”
Her lips got up in a wide smile. “And trust me, honey, I will make damn sure that if I just think you will run, there will be many walls you will run into. And all of them will have my face on it.” Casey smiled got even wider as she kissed Olivia again and felt the deep feelings that the other woman was giving her over the kiss.
