A Week in Review
So its been a pretty good week back in the Bay.
On Saturday, I packed up everything (possibly including the kitchen sink) and Bennett and I went to Brandon's grad party in Marin and then dropped my stuff in San Bruno and then went to Dave's 21st celebration at Tristan's. Both parties were pretty good.
Got sucked into an odd conversation with an older neighbor at Brandon's, advising me on what steps I should take in my career, which was pretty entertaining. Also got to enjoy Paige and Brandon's domestic adventures, including home-made tortilla chips, which were of course fabulous.
Spent most of the rest of the week relaxing/being sick as I finally let my body relax after months of pushing my limits. The only negative as been actual sleep is seemly rare, lame.
Some fun moments when I hauled myself out of bed:
- lunch and movies with Kayt ( Paradise Now and Proof)
- Bennett coming down for dinner in North Beach
- Syche hanging out last night
- Lunch/ice cream with Syche/Drew today
Tonight was capped off with Cris's 21st birthday celebration. I have some great pictures from the relvery, but they may not be for internet posting.
On a being-sucked-back-into-pop-culture note, I really enjoy "Cash Cab" on the Discovery Channel. For those of you who are heading to New York City next year, you must get on this show. Its basically a trivia game in a cab, and as it takes you wherever you can earn money. The questions aren't too hard, though a few stumped me.
The rest of the weekend looks to include a funeral, painting pottery and bar hopping. Got to enjoy my last two days of freedom before I actually start working.
