(no subject)
i'm trying to decide whether or not to buy a new computer. i have the money, although i'd prefer not to spend it, of course. i think if i took all my music off my laptop, it might be semi-decent. however, i'm not sure if we're going to have internet at our new apt? for some reason that's an issue right now. i don't really care because that's how i waste all of my time when i'm at school. and the computer lab is like not far at all, and my computer is slow anyways and i'll probably spend most of my time there even if we did have high speed broadband or whatever.
but then.. what if i get a job after i graduate and it just happens to be with a company who would give me a laptop? so then i'd just be buying an awesome new computer for nothing really. but how do i even know i'll get a job soon anyways? my dad suggested i just buy an external drive for my laptop but those are pretty pricey and i'd rather just go all out if i'm going to spend any money at all and get a computer.. (but staying under the $600 mark, which looks possible)
another problem is that i need a new printer because mine doesn't really do anything at all, and if i get a new computer, that comes with a free printer.
ugh - and free shipping right now too.
i don't know what to do. help me. what would you do?
