Fan Girl Fun Time
We went to the Rock and Shock Horror Convention last week! Money was spent and pictures were taken! Seeing Tony "Candy Man" Todd (who urged everyone to vote for Obama) again was awesome! He kissed our cheeks and even sang with Jennifer!
I met Michael Biehn but he wasn't the talky type. :( Ashley Laurence from Hellraiser was a doll, as was Penny Dreadful from Shilling Shockers--a local horror movie show. Chris Sarandon is still a good looking man and Corey Haim was funny but distracted by a young pretty girl that was ahead of us.
The highlight turned out to be Rowdy Roddy Piper! He was so genuinely nice!! He would put his hand on your shoulder, shake your hand, and look into your eyes! I asked him to put me in a sleep hold, but he was kind of reluctant. So he did a gentle one. Daryl got the full treatment when he met Roddy! Here is my favorite picture:
