Ok so tuesday was work, and then REGINA SPEKTOR AT THE OPERA HOUSE!!!
Opening for her was 'Jupiter One' who were like 'The Shins' V 'Vampire Weekend' V Bowie!

so...u know...go see them and shit!
She had some great old songs

which warmed her up
she did some old school songs too

and even a few little solo newby stuff on the piano AND GUITARRRRR
she is great on her own too!
singing her 'blue eyes' song which totally won the crowd over
'some one next door is fucking to one of my songs'
and after about 5mins of cheering and clapping and calling for an encore she came back to sing
'Summer in the city' (means cleavage! cleavage! cleavage!!)
'Samson'
and the one song i was hangin for; 'Us'
so it was totally worth the $100, especially seeing as she only had 2 shows in syd!!
