“Oh fuck.”

Jaejoong winced as soon as he moved and allowed his face to fall back onto the pillow. He could hear the sounds of things clanking from the kitchen, and he refused to acknowledge the cruel truth that had settled over his naked body.

He’d slept with Yunho again.

“Fuck, fuck, fuck.” Jaejoong hissed as he sat up and grabbed the first shirt he came in contact with. He put it on immediately, threw on his boxers, and stormed out of the bedroom, determined to find out what the hell Yunho was putting into his drinks at the club.

Unfortunately, the moment he was inside the kitchen, his righteous fury evaporated once he caught sight of Yunho eating his cereal on the kitchen counter. The other man blinked at him innocently and waved his spoon in greeting.

“Good morning.”

“Good morning?” Jaejoong repeated irritably, his anger rising. “What the hell are you putting in my drinks? I am not easy, yet it seems like every time I meet you, I end up in your bed!”

“Is that a bad thing?” Yunho asked before he spooned more cereal into his mouth. He chewed thoughtfully and cocked his head to the side, “Maybe it just means you like me too.”

“I do not like you! I barely know you!” Jaejoong snapped as he threw his hands up in the air in frustration, “And why didn’t you prepare me anything to eat? If you want me to stay longer, then the least you could do is make me breakfast too!”

Yunho glanced down at the bowl of cereal in his hand before he offered it to Jaejoong, “Do you want some of my cereal?”

“I…” Jaejoong trailed off.

Why was he shouting?

“I’m going to go now.” Jaejoong muttered as he pulled the shirt off and began to walk back to Yunho’s bedroom, thoroughly irritated with himself. He walked around the room and found his pants, but just as he was about to put them on he felt muscular arms wrap around his waist.

Yunho rested his face against Jaejoong’s shoulder, and he pressed soft kisses along Jaejoong’s neck as he pulled him closer, “Don’t go.”

Jaejoong felt himself melt in Yunho’s embrace, “You can’t just bribe me into staying with physical attention.” He muttered as Yunho’s hands slipped lower and settled at his waist, “I still barely know you.”

“Do you have to go to university today?” Yunho asked as he pulled away from Jaejoong and turned him around so that they could look at each other properly, “If not, then I shall use today to seduce you with my many other charms.”

Jaejoong stared at Yunho blankly, “I don’t have any classes today.” He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, “Fine.”

Yunho caught Jaejoong’s lips in a soft kiss, and he pulled away with a huge grin on his handsome face. “Good.” He tugged at the waistband of Jaejoong’s boxers, “Do you mind if you take this off again?”

Jaejoong slapped Yunho’s hand away, “No. I’ll be keeping them on.”

“But -“

Jaejoong glared. “I could just leave you know.”

Yunho laughed, “Fine, fine.” He took a step away from Jaejoong and pulled off his shirt, revealing his perfectly sculpted body. He winked, “Your first reason to stay, my body.” Seconds later, he dropped his boxers.

“Convinced?”

Jaejoong’s eyes betrayed him and he glanced southwards before his eyes darted back up to see Yunho’s smug expression. “Fuck you. I’m taking a shower.” He muttered before he turned away and pretended like he hadn’t liked what he had just seen.

“Can we stay in bed?” Yunho asked as he followed Jaejoong into the kitchen, “I’m feeling kind of lazy today -“

“You didn’t give me anything to eat.” Jaejoong snapped as he opened Yunho’s fridge, “I’m so hungry.”

“There are pastries on the counter.”

Jaejoong paused and turned around, “When did you -“

Yunho picked up the bag and shook it slightly, “While you were in the shower. You did take kind of long you know.” He approached Jaejoong and grinned, “Thinking of someone?”

“I was washing away all traces of you.” Jaejoong retorted as he snatched the bag and sat down at the kitchen table. He rifled through the paper bag’s contents before he pulled out a blueberry muffin to eat.

Yunho leaned against the counter and crossed his arms, “Well, I suppose you should know that I can’t cook.”

“I had a feeling.” Jaejoong replied as he chewed, “The fact that you didn’t bother to cook anything for me seemed to be a big enough hint.” He paused and glanced at Yunho, “If you really wanted me to stay, I figured that you would’ve made an effort to impress me with your cooking unless you couldn’t cook.”

Yunho furrowed his brows, “When did you come to that conclusion?”

“When I was in the shower, I thought about it.” Jaejoong glanced around the kitchen, “Is it okay if I have a glass of milk?”

Yunho poured Jaejoong a glass and handed it to him before he sat down. He leaned forward and smiled, “Is there anything else you want to find out about me?” he asked curiously as he traced a pattern on the table top.

“Why do you keep bothering me?”

“I like you.” Yunho said nonchalantly. “Look, I’m a believer in love at first sight.” He ignored Jaejoong’s displeased expression and continued talking, “Plus, you and I have a lot of chemistry. The sex is great, and I feel like I could talk to you forever.”

Jaejoong rolled his eyes, “All you want is more sex.”

“I wouldn’t protest to more sex,” Yunho replied, “But I want to know you better too. I want to know what you’re studying, why you’re so prickly, why you’re so restrained. I want to know more about you Kim Jaejoong.”

There was something about Yunho’s honesty and forwardness that made Jaejoong stop and consider things for a bit. He glanced down at the muffin he was eating for a few seconds, wondering what to say.

Would he really have anything to lose? There was nothing to lose if he allowed himself to open up to at least one person.

All he really wanted was someone to talk to, someone to listen to him, someone to accept him.

Jaejoong glanced at Yunho again, and the other man was looking at him so earnestly and openly that it forced Jaejoong to look away again.

He sighed and looked at Yunho.

“I just want a friend.” Jaejoong muttered.

A smile stretched across Yunho’s face, “I can be that and more.” He reached forward and took hold of Jaejoong’s hand, squeezed it then let go. “There’s nothing wrong with avoiding trivialities and moving to the good part. I want to date you.”

Jaejoong frowned, “You can’t be serious about this.”

“Oh, but I am.” Yunho replied, “I told you, love at first sight.”

“You’re an idiot.”

“You’ll be the smarter one between the two of us then,” Yunho shot back, a victorious smile on his face as he felt Jaejoong begin to give into him slightly. “Don’t leave. Let me win you over.”

Jaejoong mulled over Yunho’s words and glanced at the front door. If he walked out that door, there would still be a chance that he would see Yunho again, but if he walked out that door, there was a chance that his possibility of something with Yunho would be gone.

He tore his eyes away from the door and looked at Yunho.

Did he want to do something different? Did he want to try and see what life would be like in another person’s eyes?

“So?” Yunho asked, “Will you stay, even if just for today?”

Jaejoong met Yunho’s gaze and felt his heart beat faster in his chest.

“…okay.”

Jaejoong was lying down on Yunho’s bed as he watched the characters in the drama scream and yell at each other. After breakfast, Yunho had somehow convinced him that spending the rest of the day together would be a good way to show Jaejoong that they could do anything and still have fun.

“What are you studying again?” Yunho questioned as he shifted over closer to Jaejoong and brushed his arm against his, “I don’t think you told me.”

“I’m going to be an accountant.” Jaejoong replied, his eyes still focused on the television screen as the characters started bawling, “Do I look like an accountant to you?”

“You look more like a model in my opinion.” Yunho said casually as he rolled onto his back and stared up at the ceiling, “But hey, I don’t know much.”

Jaejoong rested his chin on top of one of Yunho’s pillows, and he glanced at the other man, “What’s the name of your band?” he asked, “What kind of music do you play?”

“…we don’t exactly have a name.” Yunho mumbled, “It’s my fault really. I just…I don’t know what to call us. Nothing I think of sounds right.” He glanced at Jaejoong, “We play the usual indie rock fanfare, but I like to think that we’re different from other bands.”

“Yunho?”

“What?” Yunho asked as he moved closer to Jaejoong and pulled the other man closer by the waist. His long fingers skimmed over the strip of skin that was revealed by Jaejoong’s upturned shirt, and he toyed with the other man’s hair.

“What are you going to do if you don’t get picked up by a music label?”

Jaejoong’s question hung in the air, and Yunho momentarily paused his ministrations as he thought. Jaejoong turned his head and was about to apologize to Yunho for being rude before the latter stopped him with his own question.

“What are you going to do if you don’t become an accountant?”

Jaejoong was silent for a few seconds before he replied, “I don’t know.”

“Exactly.” Yunho murmured as he leaned closer to Jaejoong and kissed the student’s forehead softly, “What matters is that you keep going after what you want and never give up. I don’t have any other goal in mind.”

Jaejoong turned his head and met Yunho’s gaze. He reached out and gently ran his fingers through Yunho’s hair, “What if I don’t want to be an accountant for the rest of my life?” he whispered, “What if I every day I dream of doing something else, like becoming a painter?”

Yunho gently took hold of Jaejoong’s hand, “There’s nothing wrong with dreaming about doing other things.” He murmured softly, his breath ghosting against Jaejoong’s face. “Dreaming is free. What you want to do with your life is up to you, and no one else. Everyone has only one life to live anyway.”

“You don’t believe in reincarnation?” Jaejoong whispered back, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. “You don’t believe in past and future lives?”

Yunho shook his head and smiled, “No, I don’t.” his eyes crinkled at he stared at Jaejoong with an intensity that made Jaejoong’s heart flutter in his chest. “So, have I convinced you in some way? Do you want to date me?”

“I like you better when you don’t speak.” Jaejoong muttered, his smile betraying the disapproval of his words. “The amount of sense that comes out of that mouth of yours is disturbingly wise and accurate.”

Yunho chuckled, “So shall I put my mouth to other uses now?” he asked as he drew Jaejoong closer and pressed their bodies together. Their forms melded perfectly together in the tight embrace, and Jaejoong allowed Yunho to pull the shirt off his body.

“Are you tired?” Yunho whispered as he hands trailed all over Jaejoong’s body and left behind warm brief touches on Jaejoong’s cold skin, “I’m a little sleepy.”

Jaejoong nodded and sank deeper into Yunho’s bed, “I’m tired.” He murmured, “I have homework to do, you know?” he ran his hands across the expanse of Yunho’s tanned back as Yunho left a soft kiss onto his collarbone.

“Lie here with me.” Yunho suggested as he tugged Jaejoong closer and pulled the blanket over their half-naked bodies. He wrapped his arm around Jaejoong’s waist and Jaejoong further entangled himself with Yunho. “You can forget about your homework for now.”

Yunho smelled like soap and cereal, and Jaejoong found the combination of scents oddly alluring. He buried his face into Yunho’s neck and felt himself get pulled deeper into the warmth of Yunho’s embrace.

Maybe he was rushing things with Yunho - but at that moment, Jaejoong couldn’t bring himself to care.

Author’s Note: Just a little development between Yunho and Jaejoong that I thought would be appropriate. XD Things are going to be picking up from here as Yunho and Jaejoong become closer, and hopefully I’ll be able to finish this story before February is over. I’m sorry that my masterlist isn’t updated. I’ll do my best to fix stuff around LJ during the weekend, because I’m swamped with stuff right now. I appreciate and love all your comments, and if you liked this chapter, please leave one! ♥
