Six Sleeps To Christmas!

It’s six sleeps to Christmas! And therefore, it is time to spread some holiday cheer, because I had a pretty great week and full excitement has just hit me this weekend. I have my pyjamas on, Christmas songs playing on YouTube, and it’s been snowing! I love Christmas time!

*g* Just trying to bring everyone I can down with me. My problem with Sam is that she has an in-depth knowledge about to many complicated things and its a little unrealistic. Daniel also knows a lot but its all in a similar area and he is much more likely to have started studying it an early age so it doesn't bother it me like with Sam. But I'm going to do some more squeeing (all part of my master plan ;) and say that I adore Daniel. And Michael Shanks who plays him. He reminds me a lot of MW in the way that when you watch him when he is the background of a scene he is still completely switched on and in character and its fun watching his facial expressions and gestures. I love actors like that. :-) Plus there's the whole Jack/Daniel dynamic that if you like Gibbs/Tony you'll love. Convinced yet?

As for Faith I'll come back and reply in more depth later but my overall reaction was that I was bored. That could have been because I was coming off a marathon SG1 session so I'm going to have to rewatch it when I'm not so distracted. I have to admit though, that there may have been a tear or two when Tony and McGee did their things at the end. So sweet.

You're totally winning me over! I am going to admit that when I did watch it - and I was like, ten, please bear my innocence in mind LOL - I was kind of a Jack/Sam shipper. I was ten! So my memories of it are a bit unclear - I have a feeling that if I'd discovered it much later (and after having discovered slash!), I would have completely been a Jack/Daniel fan. I'm really looking forward to watching it all again because I want to see their relationship! I did watch the last two seasons this year, when I was immersed in a serious crush on Ben Browder - again - so I am definitely going to re-watch in the new year! :-)

For some weird reason I didn't pay MS that much attention the first time around, which is ridiculous because he is very pretty and does have an MW-ish face, and lovely eyes! Oh, and his arms in the later seasons ... yum!

Ooh, interesting - I'll be interested to read your thoughts more! I pretty much squee-ed all the way through, but I think it was because I'm falling in love with Gibbs all over again and this made me like him so very much. And I am an absolute sucker for tugged heart strings, no matter how blatant the pulling is!

(The wordiness will be skippable in favour of Tony being beautiful! *g*)

*g* My plan is working! I can see the Jack/Sam thing but because I'm not a really a fan of Sam I'm not motivated enough to ship them. Obviously I haven't seen the last two season yet but from poking around the fandom I've been hearing that the earlier seasons (specifically 1-3) are the best. I'm pretty easy to please, just give me Daniel and I'm content ;-)

I normally don't like guys with longer hair but I feel in love with him almost immediately (I think the episode Fire and Water was the clincher). I especially love the scenes where he is not wearing glasses and you can stare into his eyes...so beautiful. *g* I've got it bad ;-)

And I should probably stop this squeeing and go to bed now because it's 2am here and I am so tired (but I just couldn't resist watching the first couple of eps of season 7. Daniel's back!)

I'm with you, I'm usually far more a fan of shorter hair than longer, but I think Daniel really suits his nineties fringe! And he really suits his glasses, too!

Usually I'd be a total enabler and encourage you to stay up late - but you want to be able to remember the episodes you watch, LOL! And I think you've probably got enough Daniel on the brain, and burned onto your retinas, to have some lovely dreams! ;-)
