Happy Groundhog Day from our home to yours!  Patrick and Ellie are staying home from work and school (respectively) because we want, as a family, to observe and celebrate this blessed holiday.

Well, that and because the weather forecast is for like TWO FEET OF SNOW ON THE GROUND! Ha! Ha!

Woodchuck carols! Hee. I also chuckled at the "chairless parking spot", since I grew up in the Chicago area.

Two summers ago, we left a couple of discarded chairs by our Dumpster and were all pleased and everything when they were "freecycled". Later that year, to our horror, we saw the very same chairs being used to save a parking space in the snow. If only we'd known they'd be used for evil and not good, we'd have made the effort to put them IN the Dumpster and not next to it. Bah.
