of hair and politics.

I cut my bangs today.
they aren't quite as lengthy.
I'll get pictures of the process later.
now I need to clean my room, clean my bathroom, change my clothes, eat, go to work, and chill.

you know what. I've been really angry and I've figured out why...This election has really brought the worst out of people. I see all these kerry supporters on the news protesting the result and beating up bush supporters. that makes me sick. and then you have a bush supporter holding a bush/cheney sign and when some pro-Kerry lady tried taking the sign from him and he just whacked her in the face. then you have all these people saying, "who did you vote for?" and when they find out it's the candidate they didn't want they get pissed at you and want to argue about who's right and who's wrong. there's so much anger and hostility and stupidity. it makes me so mad. I mean, there's nothing they can do about it now. Bush is our president. whether you like it or not, it's the truth, yet people are still fighting. ugh, I hate America. and not because of the president, but because of the people. this is just ridiculous. I don't want to hear another thing about politics. ugh. seriously. it's idle to talk about it, it wont get you anywhere, and it's stupid to fight about it.
seriously, it makes me want to throw up. people just need to think about all this, what they are doing, what they are saying, how they are acting. is it really that important? Think of it this way, I am Kelly, probably your friend or acquaintance. I have things in common with you, we've hung out or talked, or just enjoy reading each other's journal. If you voted for Kerry, would you hate me when I told you I voted for Bush? I'm still Kelly. I'm still human, just like you, and it's nothing to fight about. and in the same respect, if you voted for Bush, don't think of me higher than those who voted for Kerry. just cos we picked the same guy, doesn't mean we team up on others.
Honestly, it's just ridiculous. unless you live and breathe politics, if that's what consumes your life, then fine, get bent out of shape fighting over it, have fun. but I think that for most of us, it doesn't. we go to school or work, concerts, sports events, movies, we hang out with our friends.
lets not argue over something so stupid, cos honestly it is. cos if you are going to freak out about bush and the bush people or kerry and the kerry people, then go ahead and whack me in the head with a Bush/Cheney sign. hopefully then I'd be unconsciencous and wouldn't have to listen to your rant on political occurances.
