okay, so it's after midnight, so it's no longer remembrance day, but i just found this-

though short, i appreciate it. i hate remembrance day, and i often get so worked up about how much i hate it, i can't be articulate enough to explain why.
i've never heard of the white poppies, but i haven't worn a red poppy in years, and expect i never will again. truthfully, the only time i've ever worn them was when i was forced to in elementary school, but then they took them away because i was "wearing them innapropriately".
can i say again, how much i love shameless? $12 a year people! it's a fabulous december holiday present.... so much more useful than more socks when the recipent already has a million pairs. and cheap!
i want everyone i know to support shameless, because i can't bear the thought of yet another kick ass canadian magazine dying off, leaving us with the joys of flare and canadian living.
