coyotesuspect. Even if she wasn't a friend, I'm pretty sure I'd rec this. During the day, his skin burns and peels, then freckles over. His left arm becomes tanner than his right, sunbrowned from all the times he’s left it hanging out the window. He gets bored. There’s no one to talk to, and even though John calls every few days to check on how he’s doing, his father’s gruff and terse questions over the phone hardly qualify as conversation. Not that John was talking much before. The months after Sam left are twilight-dim in Dean’s memory, one case blurring into another and neither him nor John willing to talk. Dean still isn’t sure who he blames more- Sam for running off, or John for chasing him off. We don't get too many chances to see Dean without Sam, and even though he's gone, his presence is still a large part of the story. Beautiful and achy (Wincest).

It'd be really awesome if I had time for SAT prep, but there's a chance this might be the only time I need to take it. I just don't do well on tests.

Some girls in my class have taken to wearing leggings as pants on dress-down days, such as today. What the actual fuck? I don't understand where the idea came from, but it's definitely not a good one.

On a school-related note, the double standard sucks. My French teacher actually did something nice and gave me a free after a really hard quiz (I know, right?) So I went to the library to do some homework due Monday */dork*. My hand started to really hurt after a page of notes, so I sat and read Rolling Stone. Not!Jensen Ackles was there, and this other kid Tyler showed up. We started talking about how he and my French teacher (his Spanish teacher) got in a fight, and then he started talking about how the other day, he saw one of the senior couples making out, and said something to the girl. Apparently her response was something like, "I just really like having sex," and Tyler was saying that she's such a whore. He just brushed me off when I responded with, "That's such a double standard, though. A guy can say that and no one does anything, but if a girl says it, it's a huge deal."
Oh, men and society. Never change.

Good thing: I'm getting better on my Coffeehouse song.
