what is their favorite non-sexual activity: so many! heists often top the list, because wash loves seeing zoe in action, and wash being calm and confident under pressure is perfect when they run into some trouble. relaxing after a rough day (or mission) often includes whipping up dinner (which is either delicious or inedible); playing cards; and curling up under a blanket on the couch. wash likes to make up ridiculous fortunes for the others.
when they have some rare time planetside, they manage a low-key night on the town: dinner at a tiny, not-too-expensive local restaurant where there's no security, and dancing. no one besides wash knows that zoe loves to dance.
who uses all the hot water in the morning: ha. hot running water. running water, in general, especially if it's not rusty, is a joke. everyone's usually limited to a companion's bath with water heated over the stove, or a short ice-cold shower.
what they order from take-out what they cook for each other: cornmeal bread, red beans and rice, and rehydrated frozen veggies, if there are any.
what is the most trivial thing they fight over: wash's damn dinosaurs. he leaves them everywhere, and zoe's stepped out of bed and right onto a toy one too many times for the pain to be a joke.
who does most of the cleaning: wash makes sure everything's neat and in it's place and as not-dirty as it can be. he may be laid-back, but he's type a about his living space, probably because there's just not much.
who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working who fixes the broken things: zoe's awful handy with a wrench and some wires or pipes, so it's her job to deal with anything that malfunctions outside of the engine or control room.
who steals the blankets: zoe. serenity gets a might chilly at night, and wash's got her to keep him warm.
who leaves their stuff around: neither of them. wash gets frustrated when zoe does that, so she tries not to.
who remembers to buy the milk: zoe. first mate duties again: ordering supplies and arranging dates for the ship to be planetside for pickup.
who remembers anniversaries: zoe doesn't care about the date so much as the fact that they happened and have been happily married for years, but she makes a point to mention it on the day. she did marry a hopeless romantic, after all.
