Dear yuletide writer,
First off, you're awesome for writing for me! I know my fandoms are pretty rare, and the holidays are always busy. I'm easily pleased-I like gen, slash, femslash, and het, as well as lots of different genres (comedy, drama, romance, crossovers, AUs). In general, I really like stories about passionate relationships, whether they be friendships, romances, or just strong familial ones. Hopefully I'm detailed enough without going overboard, but if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Likes → (These are merely guidelines, so don't worry too much if something doesn't work out for you!) I like fics that align with canon more than AUs, but I do like AUs. I like fic that has a lot of snark and banter between characters. Sweet is good, sweet and sexy is even better, and angst that isn't over the top is great. I prefer plot to porn, but never say no to some action. I love kissing and cuddling, lazy mornings and rainy afternoons, visual and tactile imagery, road trips, apocalyptic fic, and domesticity.
Dislikes: → (On the other hand, please try to stick to these, as some of them are triggers.) Rape (dubious or non-consensual sex), slave fic, cross-generational incest, racist, misogynistic, or homophobic elements or statements (unless a character would make them, which I don't think they would), abuse, or graphic violence or death.
Glee RPF (Dianna Agron/Jenna Ushkowitz/Lea Michele/Mark Salling)
Any combination of the characters would be great! I love first times and UST; light angst or light fluff, but please don't feel limited! I'll love anything with this bunch.
Since Heather and Naya weren't on the character list, my first choice is Dianna/Lea, but I'll be happy with other pairings, too. If you want to go dramatic, I'm a huge fan of apocalyptic or dystopian fiction.
True Blood (TV) (Eric Northman/Godric/Pam De Beaufort/Jessica Hamby)
I'd love some Eric/Godric backstory or Pam/Jessica banter and sex.
For some reason, I feel like really good True Blood fic is hard to find. "The Adventures of Eric and Godric" is a story I've been wanting to read forever-why did Godric turn him? What was Eric like as a new vampire? How did Godric show him the ropes of the lifestyle? Later on, what happened that made them separate? Gen with Eric and Pam would also be nice, or something with Pam as a sort of mentor for Jessica.
Skins (TV) (Effy Stonem/Emily Fitch/Katie Fitch/Naomi Campbell)
What I'd really love is a character study of anyone or a relationship study of Effy/Katie or Emily/Naomi! I'm cool with Emily/Katie, but it's not my first choice, though gen with them would be lovely as well. Something that deals with LGBTQ struggles is always nice, and of course sex would be much appreciated.
Academic Institutions (Anthropomorfic) (Barnard College/Columbia University/Juilliard School/New York University)
Humor and/or sex would be awesome. Or Barnard/Columbia pining.
The schools I picked are all in New York City for a reason and totally not because my heart used to be set (at different times) on going to two of them. Inter-school rivalry would be amazing, as would hate!sex. I know this is a pretty unusual request, so any genre from crack to melodrama to serious drama would be much appreciated, and I have no preference regarding what genders the schools are.
