So I'm addicted to Myspace. I occasionally come over here and check out people's lives.
Here's the job status:
Jim's @ Helotes. Pay: $7/hr Hrs/Wk: 28+ (more or less depending on what *I* want.
CyberZone @ Ingram. Pay: $5.50/hr Hrs/Wk: 15-20.
Radio show spokesmodel: Pay: unknown/appearance based Hrs/Wk: unknown (they'll notify me early January if I got the job. I might even get major discounts on car parts and accessories for modeling for various companies. Helloooo model status :O )
I've pretty much decided on Jim's. I'll give them a call tomorrow. I mean, it's busy as hell since I chose the pm shift, but that means work won't drag on forever with nothing to do. I *hate* being bored and wasting my time. CZ would be like that a lot. I mean it's an EZ job, but boring. And I took pencil to paper and figured that the additional $1.50/hr makes a *HUGE* difference...like $125-ish difference. So yeah. Back to Jim's I go. At least I know one manager there and waiter. I'll have to get back into my groove, especially since that store is so dramatically different than Marbach location. I mean, even though I have familiar customers and coworkers at Marbach, I don't feel like running into Chuck on that side of town. And the same thing went with CZ. I'd rather go to EB when he's working with Jordan, to show that long relationships are a good thing. A very good thing. lol.
And this means I'll have money for xmas! and I mean xmas. That check will be coming in awfully close to xmas when everyone and their mom will be doing last minute shopping *sigh* The rush. Oh how I hate it. But it's all about seeing happy faces on xmas right?
