So today I went to the German club officers meeting, will be needing help since as the new historian I want to...

1)      Make a commercial of some kind. I really want to do one in black in white for no apparent reason. I want one with a bunch of races in it, start with amit (as an israelie, I would say gil except amit is actually in german), hung as the asian, any of the spics for the Hispanics and leigh or someone as the white girl. Then have it say “German club?” cut to a slow motion embrace with everyone in it “yeeeeeeeessss…” And I want one with a donut behind a podium for the whole Kennedy/donut fiasco

2)      Maybe a video. Like a short flick with pieces of everyone in it, sell them for like 3 bucks? End of the year round up style thingy.

3)      The scarp book, to which there will also be an online version, which means I’ll simply send digital pics to alvaro. And make posters to advertise the meetings, thinking Arnold the govenator should be on them.
So number three will get done, and the rest? I don’t think so. But if I decide to do such things I need major help, editing mainly. Fuck I don’t even have a camera. We will see how everything goes

Wait, wait that was not the point of this… I had a purpose.

So let’s start over. After the meeting I attempted to find salon, since we want reminders on the morning announcements about the meeting next week. I checked the news room, but nothing.

As I was leaving I see Lonnie (Perse). She blurts out “You.” A pause followed with “your score!” and she approaches and gives me a hug. I am stricken, this is not Lonnie. “I was astonished…” or something to that affect spews from her mouth, as did things along the lines of “how did you feel?” “Where you proud?” and so on, we all know the banter. I respond with “... I guess I was surprised?”

“Surprised? No I wasn’t, it just took you awhile to show your true potential.”

I stand mystified thinking “Perse? Is that really you?”

“I have been waiting all year to give you that hug.”

She departs.

That was the nicest thing that woman ever said to me. I feel amazing, I feel accomplished, I feel smart. This day has officially rocked my socks.
