yet another bite

The gluttony of mosquitoes causes their demise. Once they are heavy with blood they fall easy prey and are often left as red a black smears across my wall. I will let them feast, but once they release… bam, gone. Bastards, I hate that my flesh is there buffet.

I will die of malaria soon, but the carrier will die with me.

Try living in Turkey. Homes usually have heaters, but only the more affluent homes have air conditions in bedrooms. So in order not to suffocate from the extreme heat in the summer, all the windows and doors are opened to let in air.

Even if most of the windows and doors have screens, the mosquitoes STILL find a way into the house.

The worst is when you are sleeping. Even one mosquito trapped in your bedroom becomes an enormous annoyance. They simply don't stop biting. Its so annoying when they buzz in your ear. But its even more annoying when they stop buzzing, because then you know it is currently biting you.

I had this one mosquito bite me in 15 different places before i lost my patience and killed it at 5 in the morning. That one fucking insect caused me a loss of 3 hours of sleep.

But holy shit, it was SO HARD to kill that mosquito. Its like a game. You have to wait till the mosquito lands somewhere, and move in a way where it doesnt get alerted to your precense.

Of course, when i killed it, my precious O negative blood was smeared everywhere on the wall. During the night i covered my self with a blanket up to my toes. And guess where the mosquito bit me? On my fucking toes.

Though, i have never been bitten in Miami. Not for a while atleast. I hope you will kill it before you die of malaria, haha.
