ugh
I feel like utter crap. Went to the doctor yesterday (BTW- Happy Belated G) and I've got strep. Guess it's fairly bad b/c the nurse said she put the swab in the test and it lite up like a Christmas tree near immediately. Great. The kids are at my parents and I completely miss them! But I'm contagious for 24 hrs after I start antibiotics so I don't want them around me. I was feeling a bit better last night but my throat feels like razor blades again this morning. I hate missing work b/c this is the week I'm supposed to be getting shit done b/c Nothing else is going on. And they were considering sending me to Japan next month so missing work at this timing just looks bad. Of course my AM was supposed to get back to me as well from a talk we had on Friday b/c they've rearranged responsibilities and we're getting someone new in the group, but the way they divvied up the workload is frankly, assinine. and they know it but it's an 'interim' messure. What is really means though is we're going to lose 3 months of productivity. That is going to drive me nuts. I hate when people knowingly do stupid things. rambling this is, sorry, am a bit sleepy and trying to drink my tea. love you all and can't wait to see ya at the party!
