Sweet Child.

Sweet child of memories hold your head up high,
The moons fresh light still shines for you,
Mother wind shall dance with you till you get old and loose sight,
Sister water shall heal you each time you come to her,
Father earth shall smile when you sing to him,
Yet brother flames will always touch you,
For he is you and you are him, Oh child of flames,
As long as you live sweet child dance with him for me,
Five summers old and already you know so much,
To old for your age it seems to be, Only older you seem to be,
Ten years sense birth, and you smile has seemed to fade,
The flames still sing to you but you walk away,
The fairies once delighted your eyes, now you push them away,
Maybe when it's all said and done the sun shall shine,
Your path will find you again when you are new,
Please child of flames will you dance one last time for me?
The tranquil lights of whispered dreams still sing to you,
I know they do for your eyes cannot lie,
I heard your tears yet nights ago, I tried and tried to make you smile,
Though fifteen summer ago, you sang and dance with me,
Now I am forgotten as the one once imagined,
Maybe some days from old you'll look back and smile,
For maybe then you'll remember me again,
I'll still be there to smile and wave to you,
Even if I was just a imaginary friend of yours,
So please Sweet child hold your head up high for me.
