In the greying mist on those silver shores,
I shall wait for you with open arms,
In hopes of one day we shall walk again,
Hand in hand, and might behold,
My silver eyes may see no more,
But your warm grasp still fills my soul,
Through greying hair, and wrinkled skin,
I seem to fade in to memories,
Of days we shared, and the lives we lived,
Till the day you sailed away,
Across those barren waters lay,
A land beheld to none but you,
Though my hair once as black as night,
Now sings of stolen starlight,
and my eyes one of saphhires,
Now they lay open and bare,
Holding in a empty soul,
Though the dances we dance so merrily have seem to fade,
I remember you my female love,
Cause on the day you sailed away on waters edged,
Was the day my whole life changed,
And so I wait in the cabins door,
Staring on silver shores, and drifting tides...
