Tonight, Raul scored his third League goal of the season, and he hopes to score "many more." Real Madrid's Captain has once again proved to be decisive in a triangulation with Reyes and Roberto Carlos that earned the Whites three more points.

"We are happy because this is a very important victory for us. It's been hard to win a match in which both sides fought hard, but we were more efficient when it came down to scoring. This is my third League goal this season and I hope to score many more. The match was very tense and Valencia made it difficult for us to win. It was very tight, and in the end the first to score took the three points. We are still at the top of the table, which is where we should always be."
