two posts in one day, i'm a dork
So, tonight made me feel a little better about the Tally bar/club scene.
Noemi and I went to A.J.'s and met up with J.P. (fucking awesome, <3 him!). Noemi got J.P.'s VIP card taken away when we first got there since you have to be 21 to use it, doh! Might have been helpful to know before we got there. They were playing "We Didn't Start The Fire" from the outside of the place and I was like... hell yes!
We ran into Brittany Steel before we went in, she was waiting on Sarah Lake. Damn it, I miss those girls. I wish Bob wasn't such a dick and would hire me back at the Station.
We saw J.P. when we got inside, $7 cover is a bitch though... reminds me of :08.
Blah.
Anyways, this place is pretty cool. I'm still experimenting with all the club/bars here in Tally since i'll be here all summer and I don't know whats good. All I know is in Gville I can drink almost anywhere, even places where underage drinking is practically unheard of... like :08. So, i'm not used to not being able to drink here in Tally. They're so strict, instead of just giving a band they give a stamp too. Ugh. So, I can't take anyone's band.
I drank kind of discretely out of J.P.'s drink and some guy we had just met. I got somewhat buzzed but I think if given more time I could get to that point where i'm perfect. We had to leave at 1 b/c Noemi needed to be home by 1:30. I let it slip I was buzzed in the car, she was like "what!?". I was like "Nah, i've driven a lot more drunk than this, its ok". We talked the way home about all those drunken nights at Cory and David's. Ahhhh. Good times.
A.J.'s is awesome though, sports bar and they actually play 80s music upstairs, fuck yes! They played Billie Jean but I think were waiting til later to play The Outfield.
Best drunk song ever. TONS of hot guys, too. Good stuff, look forward to going back there.
Tomorrow I have to get up early since my brother has to drop his car off at the dealership and needs a ride back. AUGH!
Then back to sleep for a few hours and watch some lectures then go into work at 5.
When I get back i'll probably go see Hitch with my brother at the dollar theatre since he wants to see it. Awwww!
