Owwww. Bruises. Which are entirely my own fault, as I am not entirely aware of my surroundings when I'm fighting.

... by 'fighting' I mean stage combat. Not actual fighting.

But yeah. I got in to one of the shows for Dickens Fair! We're doing an absolutely ridiculous melodrama, wherein everything goes wrong. And yes, it's written that way. Messing things up even further just makes it more ridiculous. And I got one of the lead parts! I get to play the Hero! Well, the Girl Heroine, after our Hero runs off in the beginning of the show, haha.

Which explains why I am stage fighting. And why I now have bruises. This is one of those times when it kind of sucks to have fairly thin/sensitive skin. I bruise in odd ways, but falling all over the stage and tumbling and jumping and leaping and rolling and fencing will, uh, generally bruise someone. Especially with us all being as enthusiastic as we are.

OH WELL~

I'm having fun, and that's good enough for me. A few bruises may help me toughen up a bit!

In other news - I have finished RomeoXJuliet. Of course, being based off Shakespeare's play, they both die. SPOILER. It's so sad! T^T The music is really what got me, and the way the voice actors for R&J played the last few episodes. My heart was breaking. And it's a very interesting ending! Just... heartbreaking.

But now I really want to cosplay Juliet. At the very least, I need a Romeo. And then there's Francisco, Curio, Cordelia, Montague, Ophelia, Conrad...

edit: OW OW OW my haaaand. T^T Why do I have to have one of the juicier bruises right where the muscles connect for my wrist/hand/thumb? OW. Moving hurts. And I have to hold a sword AND swing on a rope tomorrow. This is going to be interesting.
