Thank you! It's easier to learn the basics by having an actual person teach you. That's how I learned ages ago when I was in college, a friend taught me (a guy friend, believe it or not). Once you learn the basics the amigurumi is not too hard to figure out. I like the projects because they are generally small. I also brushed up on the basics and learned how to read crochet patterns by reading the book "Crocheting For Dummies"...seriously. :P
Aw, thanks! I had fun making it too...even though it's not perfect but I know how to make it better next time. I'm still really happy with it...and I agree that cupcakes should have sprinkles. :P
Thanks, it was really fun to make. I got this new book with tons of cute patterns, plus I just finished another one so I'll take a photo of that tomorrow.
I'm totally paranoid about repeating my camera-dropping incident, but the neck strap on the new camera will probably prevent any major tragedies this time. I'm also being extra careful, of course.
Thank you, I knew she would like the cupcake best. The next time I make one I'll give it to her, this one is actually a gift for my sister who lives in Australia. Thanks about Wolfgang, he loves his little furry friends. :P
