Photo Story and a Few Babblings...
The October Releases: I LOVE the Hello Kitty Pullip, I'm so pre-ordering her. I know she's not for everyone, but I grew up with Hello Kitty (yes...Hello Kitty has actually been around THAT long, heh) so she makes me feel all nostalgic and happy inside. Yep, a must-have for me. The word on the Pullip street is the Taeyang for October is the Edward Scissorhands one. It's not "official" on PS yet, but it seems like sure thing. Now I like Edward Scissorhands, I love the movie and all that...but I have no desire to get him in doll form. He's an interesting concept though.
Now I just need to stalk the PS forum so I can get my name on the preorder list for Hello Kitty, I love her to death! I just don't understand why her hair looks identical to Uncanricky's? Please explain this JP, I do not understand...
The fun news is October is my birthday month so Hello Kitty will be a little gift to myself :P This will make turning 35 not nearly as depressing as it sounds while typing it (did I just give my age away? Yikes...just don't laugh please).
And, yes, the next chapter of "House of Pullip" is here...mostly because I don't think I'll have time to work on it this weekend and I didn't want to make you wait :D Enjoy!
A brief walk down memory lane (which I need to do in order to refresh your memory on past events with my dolls in older stories): Madison had her magic power stolen by an evil sorcerer named Damien. Alex has an uncanny resemblance to this Damien person, but Madison has been able to look past that and befriend him (and more). When Sebastian, her brother, first arrived at my house he mistook Alex for Damien and turned him into a turtle...Alex is okay now, obviously, but just keep these events in mind as you read this chapter, it will help :D
Chapter 41:
Madison: Ronan, I didn’t know you were here.
Ronan: *casting angry looks at Alex* I just arrived, ma’am.
Alex: Madison, what’s going on?
Ronan: *points at Alex* You, get away from her!
Alex: Uh…
Ronan: I’m warning you…
Madison: *jumps between Alex and Ronan* Ronan…no!
*Madison is too late, Ronan waves his hand to do a magic spell*
Alex: What did you do to her?!?
Ronan: Oh no…
Turtle: *meep*
*Alex picks up the turtle*
Alex: What is it with you people and turning others into turtles?
Ronan: I didn’t mean to turn her into a turtle, I was aiming at you and she got in the way!
Alex: I gathered that much. Turn her back right now!
Ronan: I thought you were someone else…I can see now you aren’t who I thought you were.
Alex: I know, I look like some guy named Damien, but I’m not… *becoming desperate* Turn her back, please!
*Ronan waves his hand to reverse the spell*
*Madison turns back into herself*
Alex: *sigh of relief* Madison, are you okay?
Madison: I’m fine. That was…strange…
Ronan: I beg for your forgiveness, ma’am!
Madison: It’s okay, Ronan…but really!
*Alex holds onto Madison protectively*
Alex: Who is this guy, Madison?
Madison: This is Ronan; he used to be Sebastian’s valet. Ronan, this is Alex.
Ronan: *uncomfortable* Hello.
Madison: We need to go see Sebastian now.
Ronan: Oh, please ma’am…don’t tell him about this!
Madison: I really can’t keep this from him, you know that.
Alex: I agree!
Ronan: *sigh* If you must…
