Photo Story...and Grace
It's been a busy week and it did not go as smoothly as I would have liked. But...it's over! And now I can get back to my Pullips and have some fun :D
First, I took Grace out for a little photoshoot of her own. I haven't done this in a while and I love her so this was fun. She is wearing Nina's white shirt and some new hairclips with white flowers. It's a simple look but I think it suits her and her personality:

Also, I put together the latest chapter of my photo story, "House of Pullip"...did you miss it? Well, I have so I was really excited to get it going again. There is also a possibility that I might be able to get the next chapter up later today...but if not then, I'll do it tomorrow...so I'm making up for the little brief hiatus my story had while I was at camp with my kids. Anyway, I'll stop babbling, enjoy the story!
Chapter 23:
*Roxanne and Wolfgang seek out and find Alex*
Roxanne: Look, there he is. Let’s go talk to him.
Wolfgang: You go, I’ll just stay here.
Roxanne: Really, it’s okay if you come with me.
Wolfgang: I know, but I think he’d rather talk to you alone. It’s okay, I’ll just wait here.
*Roxanne walks up to Alex*
Roxanne: Alex?
Alex: Oh…hi, Roxanne.
Roxanne: I’ve been looking for you…I’m worried about you. A lot of people are worried.
Alex: I’m fine.
Roxanne: No you’re not, I can tell. Please tell me what’s wrong. You’ve seemed so happy lately, I’m surprised to see you so sad.
Alex: I don’t want to talk about it.
Roxanne: You’ve never turned me away, brother.
Alex: *sigh*
*Roxanne holds Alex’s hand*
Roxanne: If you can’t talk to me, who can you talk to?
Alex: You always find a way to get me to spill it, don’t you?
Roxanne: That’s what sisters are for.
Alex: Alright, it might be nice to get it out…I’m so confused.
Alex: You know I’ve been spending a lot of time with Madison?
Roxanne: Yes.
Alex: She always seemed happy to see me and comfortable with my company. She never turned me away. I know she’s been through a lot in the past and that she might not be ready for a relationship, but sometimes she’d hold my hand and I thought…well, it was stupid, I thought wrong.
Roxanne: What happened?
Alex: She gave me her necklace. *shows Roxanne* She said I made her feel like a princess. I thought that meant she had feelings for me, but when I tried to tell her how I felt, she got angry and ran away.
Roxanne: Oh dear…I’m so sorry.
Alex: I really thought she was the one. And the dumb thing is I still can’t stop thinking about her and hoping she might change her mind. I’m a big fool.
Roxanne: No, you’re not. There might still be hope. Just give her some time.
Alex: I tried talking to her but she ran away again. I scared her away!
Roxanne: Alex, please don’t be so hard on yourself. I don’t think you did anything wrong.
Alex: But I rushed her when she asked me not to.
Roxanne: Maybe so, but anyone who has seen the two of you together would know how you felt already. It should not have come as a surprise to her. I’ll bet she knew you cared for her, and I think she cares for you…she’s just confused.
Alex: You’re sure?
Roxanne: Yes. Be patient, give her time and you can always talk to me anytime.
*Roxanne spontaneously hugs Alex*
Alex: *whispers* Thank you, Roxanne.
Roxanne: I love you, brother.
Alex: And I love you.
*still watching Roxanne with Alex from a distance*
Wolfgang: *thinking to himself* Roxanne’s compassion for everyone, especially her brother, never ceases to amaze me. How was I so fortunate to earn her love? I’ll never know…but I love her more and more every day...
