Photo Story
I still feel like crap and I didn't intend on working on my story today. However, after sleeping on and off all day I just needed something else to do, so here we are...it was a nice distraction. Hopefully I can shake this nasty cold, or whatever it is I have, soon. I'm thinking I might attempt to see a doctor tomorrow, because this is nuts. Anyway, enjoy the story :D
Chapter 16:
*Hawk still follows Sabrina, who is becoming irritated by him*
Sabrina: Will you stop following me?
Hawk: Not until I trust you will stay out of trouble.
Sabrina: Hmphf! I’m not a child.
Hawk: Then stop acting like one.
*Madison walks by, clearly upset*
Sabrina: Madison? Are you okay?
Madison: *sob*
Hawk: Wait! Is there anything I can do for you?
Madison: No, I just want to be alone…but thank you.
*Madison walks on, Hawk is concerned*
Hawk: Do you think she’ll be okay?
*He looks for Sabrina but she is no longer there*
Hawk: Sabrina? Ah…crap…
Elsewhere…
*Madison approaches Sebastian and Paige*
Madison: Sebastian? I need to talk to you…
Sebastian: Of course. Paige, will you excuse us for a few moments?
Paige: No problem, I’ll see you later.
*Paige leaves them alone*
Sebastian: *worried* What is the matter, dearest?
Madison: It’s Alex…
Sebastian: Has he done something?
Madison: He’s falling in love with me!
Sebastian: …And that upsets you?
Madison: Yes!
Sebastian: Madison, I thought you were very fond of him.
Madison: I am…I mean…I am, but not that way.
Sebastian: I am confused.
Madison: *deep sigh*
Sebastian: If I thought you loved him then poor Alex probably thought the same thing.
Madison: *becomes angry* Never mind. I shouldn’t have expected you to understand! *stalks off*
Sebastian: *still confused*
Meanwhile…
*Hawk wanders into Paige*
Hawk: Excuse me; do you know a woman named Sabrina?
Paige: I know her…but I don’t know you.
Hawk: Oh, sorry. My name is Hawk. I’m sort-of new around here.
Paige: Nice to meet you, Hawk. My name is Paige.
Hawk: Nice to meet you, too. You haven’t seen Sabrina, have you?
Paige: No…why?
Hawk: It’s a long story. She’s just someone who needs to be watched, that’s all.
Paige: *laughs* I’m sure she does. She ran off on you, huh?
Hawk: You could say that.
*Sebastian enters*
Paige: Sebastian, is Madison alright?
Sebastian: To be honest, I have no idea. I couldn’t really understand what was upsetting her and then she became impatient with me and left.
Hawk: She told me she wanted to be alone.
Sebastian: *suddenly notices Hawk* And you are…?
Paige: Sebastian, this is Hawk. He’s new here.
Sebastian: Pleasure to meet you, sir.
Paige: Hawk, this is Sebastian. He is Sabrina’s cousin.
Hawk: Another cousin? You must be related to Madison then?
Sebastian: Madison is my sister…how do you know her?
Hawk: We met a little while ago; I really don’t know her that well.
Sebastian: You have also had the misfortune to meet Sabrina, I suppose.
Hawk: Misfortune? You could put it that way. I guess I’m not the only one who thinks she’s trouble then…
Sebastian: She’s more than trouble, I warn you.
Hawk: Do you have advice on how I might find her?
Sebastian: You would be better off avoiding her.
Paige: Sebastian!
Sebastian: However, if you must…I’m afraid I’m not much help. Sabrina is a very talented woman when it comes to sneaking, spying, and hiding.
Hawk: I should have known…well, thanks anyway. I’ll keep looking then, it was nice to meet you both.
Paige: Good luck, Hawk!
Sebastian: You’ll need it.
