Sewing Time!
I've been thinking of some new sewing designs for doll clothes, but only just finally found the time to try one out last night. I got it done, please take a look:
It's a two-piece outfit: a little blue shirt with a ruffle on the bottom hem (been wanting to try that for a while now) and some white bloomers. This is just a prototype, there is so much wrong with this first try it's rather embarrassing, although you can't really tell from the photo. Trust me when I say that one sleeve is messed up, the sides are uneven and the waist of the bloomers needs...help. :P Plus the bloomers gave me a really hard time and it took me twice as long to get them done then it should have. Anyway, now that I know what I'm doing it should go better the next time I try to make it, as far as the design I'm pretty pleased with it. :D
This is the kind of thing I'm hoping to sell in my Etsy story that I do still want to open. I'm still working on that, I need to find more time to sew up some clothes worthy to sell before I actually do the store thing yet. Working on it!
I bought this, it came in the mail yesterday:
Yeah, it's a journal and you...wreck it. :P I saw some photos on Flickr (including a photo of herroyaldemones chewing on a page from hers...:P ) and was intrigued. I immediately thought of my sister who is very artistic and loves different things like this so I bought her one for her Birthday...and while I was at it I bought one for myself. My kids were so funny when they saw it yesterday, they totally want to help me wreck it and immediately started by throwing it to the floor a few times! Then they all said they wanted one of their own...if I had known ahead of time that they would be so amused by it I would have ordered a bunch of extras. :P

Okay, I love Flickr but I need help with a few things I can't figure out for some reason.
First, I have my photos organized in sets which are then further organized by collections. I have one set I would like to move from one collection to another, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get it out of a collection I already added it to. I did manage to add it to the second collection so that's no problem, but now I have the set in two collections and I'd really like to delete it out of the first. The FAQ on Flickr is no help, does anyone know how to do this?
Second...and I feel really dumb not knowing how to do this...but when you reply with a comment to someone who already left a comment, how do you post that tiny thumbnail of their buddy icon? I feel really stupid not knowing how to do this... ^^;
