Photo Story, "The Matchmaker: Part 10"
Here's the next installment of my story...it's cute :P Just had to say that. I hope you enjoy it!
Part 10:
*Oki frets*
Oki: This just isn’t going how it should…this isn’t supposed to be so hard!
*Crispin enters*
Crispin: Oki, hi!
Oki: Oh…Crispin…I’m so sorry! I know this isn’t going the way I planned, please don’t be too upset with me!
Crispin: What? I’m not upset. Why would I be upset?
Oki: Well, it didn’t work out with Rayna and now it isn’t going to work with Grace either!
Crispin: *suspicious* Were you watching me this time?
Oki: *blush* Yes…I couldn’t help it…
Crispin: *laughs* It’s okay! Really, I don’t mind.
Oki: You don’t?
Crispin: No, I don’t. And I don’t know what you mean about it not working out with Grace. She’s a very nice lady who needed a friend…and now we are friends. I wouldn’t say that’s a failure. So what if we never go out?
Oki: Are you saying you don’t want a girlfriend?
Crispin: I’m not saying that…of course I want a girlfriend. Who doesn’t want to be loved? I’d just rather take my time and find the right girl.
Oki: You are too nice…really…you should be mad at me.
Crispin: Why? I like having your help.
Oki: *frets more* I just don’t understand why this is becoming so difficult. I thought it would be easy.
Crispin: You say that as if love can be planned…sometimes it just happens without warning. I can be patient and wait for it.
Oki: That’s not really what I meant.
Crispin: What is it then?
Oki: What I mean is a nice guy like you should not have so much trouble meeting up with a nice girl.
Crispin: *mumbles* I wouldn’t be so sure about that…
Oki: But you are so very nice and kind. I saw you with Grace…your kindness was amazing! You just don’t see that everyday, it made me…smile. And you are forgiving to me and all my silly plans that aren’t working. On top of everything you are fun to be around and to talk to, I look forward to your company. What more could a girl want? Any girl would be lucky to have you love them.
Crispin: *blushes terribly at Oki’s long string of compliments*
Oki: Listen, if you still want me to help you, I will…but I won’t blame you if you want to call it off.
Crispin: Oki, please don’t leave. It wouldn’t be the same.
Oki: Okay. I’ll stay. I don’t know why you still want my help, but I’ll try to keep helping you…I just need a new plan. Give me some time, okay?
Crispin: Okay.
Oki: I need some time alone to think, but I’ll be back, I promise.
Crispin: *nods*
Oki: Are you okay?
Crispin: Yes…yes, I’m fine.
Oki: Thank you for not being mad at me.
Crispin: Oki…
Oki: Okay, I’ll stop bringing it up. I’ll go now.
Crispin: Come back soon.
Oki: I will. Bye now!
*Crispin watches Oki walk away*
Crispin: Hmmm…
