Here's another new chapter of "House of Pullip", I hope you enjoy it. :D Sorry if the story is moving a tiny bit slow at the moment but more is going to happen soon, I promise...just stick with me here...
I feel the same...both speeches were a pleasure to listen to, and I was so impressed that this election went through without someone demanding recounts, or claiming things were wrong, etc etc. I'm very proud of both candidates, and of our country right now. I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens in the upcoming term. :)
I'm with you, I'm so glad the election results came quickly and their were no problems. I thought they both ended the night with grace and it was good to see, it makes me very proud to be American and see the democratic process work well.
I'm very glad you like the story. :D I agree with you, whoever the president is they need our prayers. I also agree with you that they both love and want to serve our country, they just have their own idea about how best to do that. That's what makes this country so great, that we are free to have different ideas.
Politicians are being inspiring, gas is under $2 a gallon (in Missouri), the fascist CEO of my dad's old company was forced out, the election is (finally) over, the Christmas spirit is starting to abound, the sun is shining....and for the first time in a LONG time, I actually feel POSITIVE about the coming months :D
And what is up with the gas prices anyway?!? I mean, I'm not complaining...it's just a little shocking considering that a month or so ago gas was pushing $4 a gallon down here and now it's under $2. I don't really get it... *head scratch*
It's ridiculous. My parents buy their gas at Costco, where it's usually 10 cents cheaper than the other gas stations in town, so there's consistently at 20 minute wait for gas. It's like people don't want to believe that it's true!
