I'm really bored and I don't have much to do so I went ahead and made a new chapter for "House of Pullip". :D

As someone who frequents hurricanes, please please please stay safe!! And do you know all the tricks like filling up buckets and the bathtub of water in case you guys loose water or whatever? I remember getting a really bad hurricane in 2003 that the entire city lost water for almost a week and it was horrible! Be sure you have lots of water! (Along with food and batteries and candles, but everyone always thinks of those). But the biggest thing is to watch out for anything that could fall and hit your house, tornadoes, and fires sparked by downed power lines. I want everyone in Texas to be super safe, and that includes yoU!

Oh yes, we have these 55 gallon barrels with drinkable water in them. This was a wise move on our part because when we lost power we also lost running water. Our neighbor runs off a well, but the pump needs electricity to get the water to the homes so no pump, no water. However, this afternoon they set up the pump with a generator so we got water back and now our power is back on as well so everything is fine (we just have a mess outside to clean up). Thanks bunches for your concern! <3

You know what funny? That photo of Ico was the first one I thought of when considering what kind of sci-fi photo to do. However, I didn't have the right materials to do that kind of scene so I went a different route. I'll post my actual entry in a few days. :D

It hit us with category 1 strength, a direct hit, too, but we are totally fine. Our damage is minor and I'm relieved none of our trees fell down. Someone three houses down lost a tree but thankfully it did not hit their house. It just blocked the street but a bunch of neighbors helped them cut it up to clear the road. It's all okay for us, just an incredible mess. :P

Yes, Felix deserves what he is getting, he needs to learn that just because one person betrayed his trust does not mean everyone is out to get him.

take care during Ike! We've been joking around that the next hurricanes should be Marth and Roy, lol.

We're in SE Houston so it's still gonna get us but probably not too badly.

Congrats on making the finals for TQ! Good luck!

I hope you are okay, please let me know! I don't know about you but we got a direct hit. Power was off since very early this morning until now, it just came back on. Take care!

Thanks about TQ, I finished my photo early and sent it in because I was pretty sure we would lose power but did not now how long it would be down. Thankfully, it didn't turn out to be an issue but I'm still glad I don't have the photo to worry about right now. :D

we got a really bad hit. we lost power friday night and still don't have it. I'm at a friends house (pinkpoogleh from DOA) right now charging my laptop and cell phone. I'll post pics of the damage when I'm done resizing them and whatnot.

I'm just glad to hear you are okay, I was a little worried. We had power and then lost it again. But it came back on yesterday and it appears to be more permanent, we shall see. I know they are working hard, but Houston is a big place. I hope you get power soon because that makes coping so much easier. Take care! <3

Stay safe, I'm sure it is scary!

The first thing I thought of when I saw the theme I thought of The Rocky Horror Picture Show cause I was singing the opening song. Good luck with the picture

It was scary, I hardly slept at all last night. I just laid there listening to the huge wind gusts, not able to see anything, and hoping nothing bad was going to happen. :O Thankfully, it's all fine and it's over now. Thank you for your concern! :D

I have confession: I have never seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Yep, my life is sad, I know. :P
