Poor Ronan. :3 And I still don't like Zander...mostly because he reminds me of people I didn't like IRL. :P So I hope Felix opens his eyes to what he'd be missing out on!

And yay for reading aloud to your kids! I do, too - it's part of our pre-bedtime ritual. Kaia gets super excited about choosing a story. ;D

I really should finish the Harry Potter series. I think I stopped reading after book 5? I'm not really sure.

Zander is doing better, but yeah, he's not perfect. I know plenty of people in real life like him, too. :P There is much more to Ivy's story so keep reading (I know you will). Reading aloud is fun, I even try to do the voices. Harry Potter is one of my favorite series, and it's absolutely great to read out loud. :D

be able to help Ronan make a friend,
if not fall in love :D

As I said on HoP, you are one the only people who commented on noticing that Ronan is rethinking his decision on accepting Sabrina's help. He really has no one else to turn to and he is feeling a little desperate to know what to do next.

I love reading Harry Potter aloud, it's like it was written to be read out loud. Not all books sound that great being read aloud. I'm really enjoying it and I think my kids are, too (heh, I do the voices, too). Harry Potter is one of my favorite series!

Aww, Ronan's being sweet! It's pretty funny to see him flustered over someone >:D

Ronan is so flustered because he has no idea what to do. He saw Melodie and suddenly is feeling in a way he has never felt before, it's funny that he's all confused and desperate. :P

Twilight=no love from me. I love all books, don't get me wrong, and if Twilight is the only thing a person reads...well, I'd rather them read that then nothing at all ( ... )

I will admit, I like Twilight okay, but I'm in no way a part of the ridiculous fandom that follows the series. I also get tired of hearing people gush over the books saying, "It's the best book series ever!!!!!" Ugh, if that's true I don't want to know what other crap they have been reading. Twilight, in my opinion, does not stand up to any of my favorite books like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Narnia...not even close. I mostly read the series because I wanted to know what happened rather than reading it because I think it's great writing (it's so not). You are so correct about the characters, they are very one dimentional and Edward just...bothers me. Bella's obsession with him is more then slightly disturbing, too. All this said, the last book was okay even though the end was a bit too neat and perfect. I just hope that most of the fans reading the books will realize that it's not realistic at all and remember it's pure fantasy...but I don't know. So many people take these books way too seriously ( ... )

The "best book ever!" thing really bothers me too!! I mean, one of my favorite book series is a relatively obscure fantasy series simply titled "The Study Series," but it totally pwns Twilight (by the way, I think you might like it, the first one is called Poison Study, and the author is Maria V. Snyder. Not only is it fantasy goodness, there's plenty of romance, too :D) How can people say it's the "best book ever" when there are TONS of good books out there they've never even heard of ( ... )

I feel all weird about Twilight sometimes because it's like a like them and hate them at the same time. I can't stop reading them yet when I do I let them bother me. :P Oh well, I don't take them seriously ( ... )

oh, ronan has a long way to go . . . can't wait to see more with him and sabrina.

a friend told me that the third book is "basically nothing but cockblocking", and she was totally right. i just got the last book in the mail but i'm reading something else right now so it must wait.

Yes, Ronan does still have a lot to learn. He's all excited about Melodie when in reality she hasn't shown any real interest in him at all rather then enjoyment at meeting a new friend. There is a lot more to this story, I hope you enjoy it. :D

Twilight I read for fun only, not because I'm seeking any kind of intellectual fulfillment. :P (I call it "brain candy"...it's also a bit of guilty pleasure for me, I know it's mostly crap but that doesn't stop me from reading it, heh). Both the second and third books annoyed the crap out of me to the extreme, I could live a happy life not reading either of them again. The last book is pretty good, if predictable, but the ending is a bit too neat and perfect to really satisfy me completely.

yeah, i didn't mind the first book that much, but they just got steadily worse. glad to hear the last one is worth reading.

heh, i read lots and lots of books for brain candy purposes . . . but twilight just didn't satisfy that need! i looove "trashy" books but for whatever reason these books were really irritating.

sabrina is my favorite character, so can't wait to read more. :p

I think I liked the last book okay because there's more to it then Bella's weird obsession with Edward. That just gets really old to me after a while, but the last book had a look more going on and part of it is even told from Jacob's point of view. I'll give the author credit here, she does a good job making the writing style different from her Bella point of view parts so you really get an idea of Jacob's way of thinking.

I'm so glad you like Sabrina, there will be a lot more of her in the upcoming chapters! :D
