Veterans Day

Hey, y'all!

I know this is an American Day, but I had to take my time to say thanks and congratulations to Rio's Police. In a language that most people understand, to learn how to see how not everything about out police is corrupt or ugly.

I do not believe in the freedom speech invested by USA, to give them reason to enter Iraq and Afghanistan, though, it's just political views and the ONLY important thing is: my heart and prayer go out to all those who lost a loved one, and to all those men and women who fought and died in battle.

Here, in Brazil, we are not that nationalist. We rather let our cops be called corrupt, then either think twice about their situation. We let people call our country a bunch of names, even though we KNOW Brazil doesn't deserve it.

Today, there are a bunch of cops in an operation in Rocinha, Rio de Janeiro. They might be killed, they might be shot, but they're standing there, hoping for a good outcome, honoring their job and their people. They are there, even thought their salary is horrible, and the government and our people don't give a them about them.

What most of you seen on Elite's Troop is not a movie, is not a bunch of actors. It's what happens here. It's what kills our cops, kills our children in slums. This is people's fault, and I'm not gonna be easy or dreamy about it:

I have harsh political views and I think every drug user must be held accountable for killings in slums all over Brazil. Not in the way "they should all be arrested", but like they should stop blaming cops because it's their vices who brings guns to drug dealers (by giving them money).

I'm not gonna apologize for my political views. I'm not gonna say it's right or wrong. NO! Every country know how they deal with shit and even though I'm pro-army, pro-police, I NEVER thought wars bring justice, or peace.

So, here it is, no matter why you're fighting for, if you believe you're doing the best for your country, and for your people, I appreciate everything you did. If you lost a loved one to war, or shootings, my heart goes out to you.

Please, do not criticize my views about Iraq and Afghanistan, focus one the heart of the message here.

And just to make it clear: THIS is me thanking people for protecting their country, their people, their beliefs.

T.
