oh haha, hardly a secret... i get pics from google searches and/or the cap_it community, use vcw vicman photo editor to crop, resize, add text, add color, add brushes, etc... it's a free program, you can download it from the link above. i dunno, that's about it... usually the most important thing i do is choose a good picture to start with (good quality, manipulatable size), and to increase the contrast after adding any gradients or brushes...
