Hi, I'm new to Brigit's Flame and I wanted to leave you some feedback. Please take what you need from it and disregard the rest.

I liked that Lorna turned out to be a parrot at the end, but why didn't they just kill him instead of the bird? It seems they had time to take the bird and then return it. Why not kill two birds (!! bad pun !! Sorry) with one stone?

This is a nice piece about self rationalization, but I agree with the other poster that him calling for Lorna gets a little repetitive. Although "parroting" her name over and over again ties in with the reveal at the end.

It's obvious the guy's a nutter, but he seemed really clear headed and rational with everything he did, why does he not understand Lorna is dead? He even mentions that his enemies took her away and used "their bloody knives".

Anyway, I did enjoy reading and I'm looking forward for more of your work. Thanks :D -- Jamie
