Day 4 - What I ate today (in great detail).

 A few weeks ago this would have been a much more interesting post filled with all sorts of wonderful, home-made, goodies that James cooked up or baked, as it stands though, because he made so much good food I ate crap loads and now find it somewhat uncomfortable in my jeans!! lol Less snacks and smaller meals are my first attempt at shedding a few pounds and we'll see how that goes.

Lets get onto today though.

I woke at 9am this morning after my rude alarm clock didn't have the decency to know better :P I got up, went to the loo and decided upon return that it's still my holiday and another hour in bed wouldn't hurt...11:35am was when I ACTUALLY re-awakened and was incredibly thirsty so I went down the stairs and poured myself a massive glass of Semi-Skimmed Milk - that was my breakfast. I'm not a huge fan of eating in the morning: Often I wake up feeling sick and I think it's to do with the medications I take.
After I fully awakened I felt somewhat peckish and for lunch I made myself 2 slices of toast (un-buttered) topped with a packet of Barbecue Beef Super Noodles and grated Strong Cheddar Cheese. It was actually really good, but I could only manage 1 and a half slices of it and our resident fox cubs got the rest, as well as a few birds :) That was all washed down by another glass of Semi-Skimmed Milk, but not as large as the breakfast one.

As the afternoon wore on I had a large glass of Diet Pepsi.

Tonight our family had a dinner reservation at Antipasti on Sauchihall Street in Glasgow for our traditional family birthday meal. It was Mutti's birthday yesterday and we went out for the day to Amazonia and at night had a home-cooked meal made by Gondor and Carter as part of her birthday gift (which was excellent and sadly no photos to show for it, much to Maf Callow's dismay!)

For dinner I ordered Saffron and Turmeric Infused Risotto with Wild Mushrooms and a glass of Diet Coke. The food was delicious and there was a good helping of lightly fried onions and I added Parmesan Cheese and Black Peppercorns as condiments. There was a second Diet Coke involved too, but no dessert as I was proper stuffed and only managed about 2/3 of the plate of food! :o

No snacks tonight, but there may be another Diet Pepsi on the cards before bed with a film to watch :)
