Feeling better.

Jun 16, 2009 12:25

I was at the doctors this morning for a check up regarding my chest infection. I'm feeling much better, coughing less and even managed to walk down to the Village yesterday afternoon, which was AMAZING. Fresh air and freedom! She has a listen to my lungs and was very smiley when she found not a pop or a crackle \o/

Her and her collegues were concerned that the cause of my chest problems was my Methotrexate. I knew it could cause breathing problems but i wasn't sure to what extent and she explained today that Methotrexate presents lung toxicity in exactly the same way a chest infection presents and it's almost impossible to tell the difference at first glance. So i've to be more aware and did the right thing by going to the doctor as quickly as i did.

I'm still stupidly tired and the coughing makes my stomach mucles ache, but slowly getting back outside and going about my business is wonderful. I'm going to hang with Lewis at his place tonight - watch some tv, eat pizza and have a chat. Tomorrow is more relaxation and Thursday is the old man's birthday, by old man i mean Lewis ;) We're doing lunch and shopping as i've no idea what to get him and he wants clothes so i suggested we did that as his style has changed and he's now worse than a woman for going clothes shopping, so it's apparently an ideal way to spend his day. Go figure! :p

Should be fun though and good company :) Friday...Tom is coming up to stay with Lewis for the weekend. It's been ages since i saw him! He's an uni mate of Lewis from Carlisle and we all got on pretty well. So Lewis suggested we all hang out on Friday, go to the cinema and see Transformers 2 with a bunch of folk. No idea who's going yet besides Me, Tom and Lewis. Invites are going out today rofl.

Saturday night Lewis is having is birthday bash consisting of BBQ, alcohol and possibly pumping beats >.< I've already discussed my non-desire to stay very late because the music and dancing isn't really my scene and it's not like i'll have barely seen him over the week! :p I'm sure we'll have a blast though.

I'm actually knackered just thinking about all of that. I'm clearly going to have to work overtime to get my daily blog post up this coming week. If you've anything to say about Clowns, Hunting, Stupid Inventions or Scottish Accents - those are the recent topics up for discussion over at:-
