Clothes and a birthday summary
God, i've been such a shopping fiend lately, but today was the last time! Seriously, the reforming of my wardrobe is fun, but a money sucker! :P
In the last few weeks i've bought pair of trainers, pair of knee high boots, a pair of black flats, a black dress, a beige combat style dress, a leather bomber jacket, an "I love Nerds" t-shirt and a bunch of underwear :O
Man, i set my new camera's timer and i wasn't sure if i did it right and just asi went to check it i got this rather serious catwalk model-esque photo; skills. -.-
Appropriately titled "Me dicking around!" :D.
If it's not snowing by next friday i may consider this when i go to James' as i think we're going out with another couple. Friends of his he's known for years assuming of course he can get a hold of Dave >.< If not we're going solo,i've decided. Also decided i'd be getting him pied enough to dance because that would be utterly amusing and i love dancing with the right encouragment :D He was the one who did say he does tend to dance withe the right amount of alcohol in his system...he shouldn't tell me these things, i'll just exploit them ;)
I had a wonderful birthday and few days surrounding it too, btw. I haven't had the skills to write a proper update so i'll quickly summarise. Friday 30th Jan i had a family meal with Lewis and Mark there too, at the Filling Station. The food was ace, but it was busy and warm. I had a lovely time and i think everyone else did too :)
On Sunday(1st Feb) I was a nervous wreck ./facepalm. I met Lewis for lunch before heading home where i did a mental quick tidy of my bedroom before departing for the airport feeling sick and twitchy. Poor Mutti was like "it'll be fine." and i was all "WHAT IF IT'S AWKWARD??!" like a right crazy lady. However it was all good, there were cuddles and hand holding and smiles and introductions and a night of pizza and 24 when we got back to the house.
Monday we got up earlyish and trotted into town in the blizzard of snow to buy books. I bought 3 and James bought the Illiad :o Some light reading right there, NOT. :P We got some coffee and cakes and curled up on a Waterstones couch and read for about and hour or so before heading home.
Tuesday was my birthday. We got up early cause Gondor was heading to Uni and gift giving was to commence before. I got spoiled to all hell as usual with Jewellery, Clothes, Books, Gift Vouchers, Sweets and a new Camera which i have utterly abused since getting. I think i've taken it everywhere to take photos of everything. Surprisingly forgot to get photos of J topless...so much fail! I will though...next weekend!
Mwahahaha. At night myself, J and my closest friends gathered at the 13th Note to celebrate and i have a ton of photos, but i'm so lazy about posting them. I will!
Wednesday...uh. Hm. *BLANK* I think we just lazed about all day watching dvds before he went home at night. Sadly because the weather was so shit his flight was redirected to Birmingham and he had to then get a bus to East Midlands and then a taxi i guess from there, so it took his AGES to get home :(
It was a really nice few days and loved having J here. I'm looking forward to going down to his next weekend :)
