I've long since had most of Apollo's past planned out, but I just couldn't put it in the initial post due to the character limit.

Here's Apollo's past:

Ages 0-6: Apollo was born the reincarnation of Aknadin (going with the Anime plot where Aknadin apparently wasn't sealed in the Millennium Puzzle with Zorc. Aknadin's Yami Yugi's uncle and canonically the one who made the Millennium Items). He was an otherwise ordinary child in a Rural community in London, with one older brother and two parents, except his father was a smoker who eventually had a heart attack when Apollo was 5 years old. Apollo set some of his father's cigarette packs on fire not many days later. He was given the Exodia Necross card one day by one of the cult members at 5 years old, and was possessed in his sleep by Zorc and Exodia in the form of that same card that same night. And again that same night, the same person who gave Apollo that card decided to set fire to Apollo's house and knife his family, and when he got to Apollo, he told him everything he just did. The arsonist proved it by showing Apollo his family bleeding to death trying to crawl towards his room to help him. Apollo, with Exodia and Zorc not exactly helping matters, accidentally blew up the house and everyone in it, due to his powers and the sheer force of his anger at the entire situation. After wondering the house looking at what he had done, he ran away, believing it all to still be a dream. He was then homeless until the Age of six.

Ages 6-9: After wondering around London without a home for less than a year, Apollo was found by a bunch of people who offered to take him in. He said yes, and so they took care of him for two years. Not many details on this have been hashed out yet, except that Apollo's new home was in the city and Apollo was ultimately happy with his caretakers after a long while.

Ages 9-10: Turns out, the people who took care of Apollo belonged to a cult dedicated to worshiping Zorc and wanted him to join them in fully reviving Zorc and/or covering the world in darkness, and the arsonist was one of their members. The cult decide to torture Apollo (in the ways mentioned in the post itself) For The Evulz and so that he hates the world enough to want to destroy it like they do, and end up doing so until about the end of the year in order to increase Zorc's hold on him and make Apollo help them in their quest. As previously mentioned, the last day ends with every single one of them blown up. He says the quote the title was inspired from: "There's no one in the world who has only one face.", and he laughs and laughs until he cries and screams. The police find Apollo, who is still screaming at that time, and he's ultimately sent to an orphanage.

Ages 10-12: This is the amount of time Apollo's in the orphanage, and it's during this time that he finds out about the beings inside him. Particularly that while Exodia himself is mostly benign, Zorc is essentially Satan and there are likely other pieces of him in the world. He eventually (or quickly, haven't decided which) tries to tell people in the orphanage, be they peer or adult, that Exodia, Zorc, and creatures like them exist. And no, he doesn't hate Duel Monsters, despite what this may imply. He just hates Zorc. Nonetheless, no one believes him, and things get so bad (psychotic episode(s) maybe?) that he's eventually sent to a children's ward (This is one suggestion by someone else that I feel I might have to keep, though I need to research pediatric mental health care in Britain regardless). This particular "betrayal" is by people who ultimately mean well, and Apollo knows that, so he's not enraged beyond all reason so much as feeling what he can only describe as "cold." "Unwanted and alone", perhaps. He also escapes the vehicle he's being transported in (or plays along with the other children in the ward and eventually escapes from there, as suggested to me by the same person who told me he would be sent to a children's ward. She said this was what would likely happen if Apollo was smart) and is out on the streets of London again.

Again, Apollo's 15 years old by the story's start.

Again, if I'm contradicting myself or if anything in about Apollo's past doesn't make sense or sounds stupid, please let me know.
