I'm a very new anon here. Idk if the MODS were supposed to do that or if I was, and unfortunately Idk how to do so. If you can tell me how, I will gladly do so. I apologize for taking this into account when I made the comment in the first place.
http://www.livejournal.com/support/faq/75.html tells you how to make an LJ-cut. But since a mod posted it, I don't know if you can make the cut to this entry, or just for future entries. The mod might have to do it.
Yeah, this isn't what I needed to see first thing this morning, heh. We all make mistakes. Thanks for trying to fix it. :)
Yea, it looks like because the Mod posted my anon comment, I can't edit it. I probably could've made the cut myself before completing my comment, but now because I didn't even think to do so that's been left up to the Mod who posted it. I asked the Mod who posted my comment about the cuts a few hours ago.
You can still answer my question up there if you want to. You don't need to, and I'm only saying this because I still want someone to answer it. It doesn't have to be you.
By the way, the Mod hasn't gotten back to me yet, despite what I may have implied. However, I don't have the option to edit the post because someone else posted it.
I'm sorry I can't help you about your question, but I have to scroll past your post, which is why I asked about the cut. Child torture is upsetting to me (I read that much before I realized).
And in turn, I understand your refusal. Frankly, I upset myself with the stuff I come up with sometimes. I'm doing this because I want see the whole idea (It's more than this, by the way. It won't just be about my OC) through and write this fanfic. That requires doing the research and doing it right. That's why I decided to make this anonymous comment and have it posted: To continue said research.
Yes. All writers who even WANT to be worth their salt, including when writing fanfiction, must share in this pain. There can be no exceptions. I'm glad you understand that, Iaridian. Also, thank you for showing me another source I could use. I very much appreciate it.
Incidentally, I can't answer your question ("refusing to answer" as you put it) not just because of the subject matter, but because I can't answer it. I'm not qualified to talk about torture and mental health in anyone, much less kids, so if you don't get an answer from someone, it's probably because they aren't able to answer it, not because they're withholding information (which is how your "refusing to answer" comes across). It'd be the same if you asked a question about nuclear physics or the French language; I can't speak on either of those topics, so I can't answer questions about them.
Thank you for adding the cut, orange_fell. I appreciate it. Also, is there any chance you could answer my question up there? If not, I can't claim to understand until I'm told why, but I'll respect your wishes whether you tell me why or not.

If you're on Tumblr, I think there's an askblog about that kind of thing:
