Fungus that it would be Bad News to breathe in for a healthy person

time: now-ish.
place: a CDC lab, probably in the Pacific Northwest.

I need Our Heroine to scold her lab assistant about being careless about his safety equipment. Our Heroine is a mycologist (this is for the fungal zombies I've asked about a few times in the past). Basically, I'd like her to say something like "Put on your damned mask. You don't want to get a lungful of [foo] spores", where [foo] is some specific genus or species of fungus.

I looked up "toxic mold" and "toxic fungus", and it seems like the usual "toxic mold" culprit, Stachybotrys chartarum, isn't really a problem in small quantities for a healthy person. But Our Heroine could easily be working with something *really* nasty, that isn't often found "in the wild", if there is such a thing. Any ideas? (I'd prefer a real thing, not made up handwavium, I've got plenty of handwavium going on with the zombies)

edit: unless someone comes up with something cooler, I'm probably going with Valley Fever.
