The last school where I taught had an unspoken tradition that the graduating class organized pranks in June. The two most memorable ones were:
A flash mob where every student froze at exactly the same time. As it was a huge school and this was between classes, the effect was quite dramatic. The organizers got suspended for it-unjustly in my opinion.*
The students in their wisdom decided that it would be a great idea to buy a bunch of live crabs from the supermarket and release them in various bodies of water (toilets, water fountains, etc.) around the school. It did not go well for the crabs-though, to be fair, they were marked for death anyway-or for the unfortunate teachers and caretakers who had to clean it up.
* A thing to keep in mind is that what is considered a suspendible/expulsion-worthy offence varies widely between schools, school boards, and in regards to various students. In Ontario, the Safe Schools Act was previously zero tolerance until there were legal challenges around the Human Rights Commission, as children of colour were being disproportionately affected by the law. Administrators have a lot of discretion-I've seen kids suspended or expelled for comparatively minor offences, while a kid with pushy parents can practically get away with murder.
