Human evolution in oxygen rich environements

Oct 05, 2013 22:59

Hey guys, want to write something where humans have evolved along side dinosaurs. However, for the dinosaurs to be able to exist they need to have approximately 30% oxygen in the atmosphere. The current concentration is around 20%.

My question is what physiological differences would humans have evolved in such an oxygen rich atmosphere?

Dr. Google is giving me plenty of information about high altitude adaptation and the risks of oxygen toxicity but nothing about adaptations to high oxygen environments.

Hope you all can help!
