ANSWERED: Spiders in US motel rooms, present day

Okay, this might sound like an easy question to answer but... I can't google it. Apparently my arachnophobia extends to pictures of spiders. (Learning this was... not pleasant:/)

So. What kind of a spider might my main character see on the wall of her room? Just a regular creepy crawler, nothing poisonous or particularly worrisome.

Any part of the country will do, just tell me where, and that's where I'll place her.
