That is awesome, but I would have liked something specific before the cut to indicate that it referred to the USA.

Aw, sorry. It is in the entry tags, though? And, while the majority of this is definitely about 1930s United States, there are enough references within the guide to other countries that it makes me just a little hesitant to label it as US in the title areas.

Agreed. I mean, it's interesting, but this doesn't really reflect the world of (for example) Lord Peter Wimsey, Brideshead Revisited, and so on.

I want to see LPW learning to call someone a moll. Just because.

Thanks a lot for this post :D
I loved the one for the 1920's and will definitely look through this one as well. Thanks again for all the work you've put in it.

Are you thinking of doing other decades?

Thank you! ♥ I'm really glad you like them.

I am thinking of doing other decades, but I don't know yet if I want to do all decades between the 1920s and 2010s. I do know I want to do a '50s one, and I really want to do an '80s guide. I know the '80s are very easy to see into since the movies and music are still fresh in our minds and popular, and there are tons and tons of people alive today who were older kids to adult age in the '80s (unlike the earlier 1900s), but I really like the decade, tackiness and all.

Plus, I think a lot of us fall into the easy trap of viewing and writing the '80s as almost a parody, which is always funny (ex. The Wedding Singer gets funnier every time I watch it) but not always what we're actually aiming for.
