So is there a proper style for a ruler of Silla? (Thinking 7th century, CE.) For instance, if a ruler were being introduced, would it be His/Her Majesty? Something else? Korean dramas use His/her Majesty, sire/queen/lady/lord, at least in translation. I guess I'm asking is how accurate are these translations? The histories I've read (in translation) aren't overly detailed on this point.
Edit: I've read a few histories of Korea at this time period and about half a dozen academic articles. The Silla part of the Samguk Sagi isn't due to be published in a translated form until December. (And the parts I've been able to find haven't mentioned anything.)
