A fire that would destory the wound on a body?
A modern day vampire story.
Said vampire had just been "turned", he woke up and felt hungry and killed the first man he saw by biting down his throat and drinking all his blood. There was no one there to teach the vampire or anything, so he just burned the house down, hoping that the fire would destroy the body enough that no one would find out about the wound or the fact that the man's blood had been drained prior to the fire.
Would a house fire work? Or is it not possible for a house fire to burn so hot, so long that the body would suffer that much damage?
