So David was a threat because of the consent he riceived from the tribes and not because of his marriage? And he was not a real threat to Jonathan neither because the succession wasn't clearly dynastic?

And I'm also looking about a way to describe realistically the buildings of the time. For example... did Saul live with his family/servants and his warriors in some sort of court?

(I'd love to read your rewriting of Solomon's reign/era)

Actually, an increasing number of archeaologists don't believe that that kingdom existed in any form. In spite of massive amounts of money and energy put in by the Israeli government and people outside the country - and in spite of ideal climate conditions - no one's ever found any evidence to support events in the Bible prior to the Babylonian captivity ( ... )
