When was the traditional wolf hunting season historically? I've found information that says that King James I of Scotland passed a law requiring 3 wolf hunts a year between April 25th to the 1st of August, because that was the wolf's cubbing season, but were wolfhunts limited to that time, (as fox hunts were, in England, before they were banned) or could they go on outside it?
