Washing Dishes in a Washing Machine...lol.
So, I'm writing a Harry Potter fanfic for a friend, in which someone misunderstands the precise use of a washing machine. Basically, the character is going to try to wash the dishes in the washingmachine...
So my question:
Would the dishes break (or get otherwise damaged)? If they use dishsoap, what would happen, if anything? Anything else you may think to add...?
...I doubt anyone has personal experience with this scenario, but similar situations/anecdotes could also prove useful, if you feel like sharing.
